The Duluth Studio Company came to life in the mind of Stacey LaCoursiere while she was running her wedding and portrait photography business, LaCoursiere & Co. As she started getting requests to take on commercial work, she was inspired by the individuality of each project and wanted to help unify brands' visual content. From there the company grew to also include video production and brand consulting. We provide different perspectives, ideas, and skills to give our clients the best branding experience possible. Stacey is the curator. Whether she’s forming a team, or working with our sister company, Duluth Studio Market, her drive is to create something beautiful. She has lived in every corner of the U.S. and met her husband, a Duluth native, while visiting family in Minnesota. After they bounced from state to state together, they moved back to Duluth in 2002 and started their family. She loves Duluth for being a city that doesn’t feel like a city, but she’s also very proud of having lived in so many different places. Her travel has taught her a lot about the world, giving her perspective and experience that she passes on to her business'. Other than being an entrepreneur, mother, and photographer, she also enjoys gardening, interior design, traveling, and hiking. Stacey currently owns and operates the Duluth Studio Co. and & Duluth Studio Market while also offering mentoring sessions for aspiring photographers and business owners alike.

VIDEOGRAPHER + ART DIRECTOR

Ryan is here for the stories. Your stories, specifically. His love for storytelling started early in life and continues to this day. He loves a great book, a powerful movie or even a compelling commercial. Just over 12 years ago he discovered video as a way to capture and share the moments of life and has never looked back. When he’s not behind a camera (or let’s be real, at the computer editing) he’s likely outside enjoying the beautiful city of Duluth with his family or eating great food… preferably both of those things at the same time. Ryan also owns is own wedding video company, Mere Cinema - so if you are looking for a wedding videographer be sure to contact him there!
